Team Sites Become Vital to Collaboration

Rather than positioning Team Sites as an optional value added community on the intranet, we chose to make them vital to users’ day-to-day collaboration. With a prominent blog, calendar, and document library, Team Sites are intended to be THE web based destination for internal departments to find and share mission critical information. We chose to push updates from the team sites all the way to the homepage of the intranet to encourage maximum awareness and usage of the content.
